The Lost Falcon Center

Lost Falcon is a free falconers search centre that assists falconers that have lost their falcon and other birds of prey, including lost  Eagles, Falcons, hawks and Owls.

The spelling of lost falcon center has caused a discussion, to put your minds at rest that I can spell, The Lost Falcon center has a vision to be international, in as much as Lost Falcon can learn how international countries find their lost birds of prey, help other countries  set up a centre for Lost birds of prey and converse with other countries when birds of prey decide to take a holiday.

Several English speaking countries spell centre, center. 

What is The Lost Falcon center ? 

The Lost Falcon Center is a growing database of voluntary searchers, who's sole concern is the health and welfare of falconers Birds Of Prey.

Where possible, The Lost falcon Center will send falconers out to assist you in looking for your lost bird of prey.

However, we do suggest that falconers use their own common sense when using our searchers.

What does that mean?

Well sadly not every falconer has your birds safety and well being at heart. Whilst The Lost Falcon Center has tried to establish the good intentions of all the searchers, we ask falconers using our service to ensure that your found bird of prey is safe. For example, instruct the searcher on what to do, for example phone you, call you, return to a given point etc as soon as your lost bird of prey is found. 

The Lost Falcon center is a collection of willing searchers recruited from falconry forums, falconry centres, falconers websites and recommended falconers, however The Lost falcon center does not accept any liability for the actions of its searchers. The searchers opinions are not endorsed by The Lost Falcon Center.

Falconry Telemetry 

The Lost Falcon Center highly recommends the use of working telemetry when flying any bird of prey, we will be introducing a telemetry check page, basic checks before flying your bird of prey, that if followed should minimise the chance of loosing your bird of prey. 

Why call Lost Falcon?

The Lost Falcon center will where possible send at least one searcher to the falconer, in the field to assist in finding the lost bird of prey.

Whilst the falconer and searcher are looking for the lost bird, with your permission, The Lost Falcon Center will phone the IBR, the Police, the RSPCA and post on all the willing forums that your bird of prey is lost.  You do not have to agree to this part of the service, we will respect your wishes.
