Falcon Center Works

When the falconer looses their bird of prey, they call The Lost Falcon Center, who will send live help out as soon as various times have passed.

Birds of prey and falconers will not be discriminated against for not using telementry, simply because telementry is still an expensive piece of equipment.

The Search Party Times

Buzzards and Hawks - 24 hours*

( Simply because in most cases, the Hawk and Buzzard family will sit up a tree and be retrievel by the owner at first light, when the hawk or buzzard is hungry. )

Falcons -1 Hour*

Why with falcons do The Lost Falcon Center react within an hour? Simply because falcons can fly at 60 miles per hour and are more often than not, birds of prey experienced falconers will hunt with, due to their nature. This means, that the falcon will not be sitting behind a hedge, ignoring the falconers signal, but will be miles away, needing a team to find the falcon quickly.

Breeding Bird of prey - 1 Hour*

A search party will be sent out within an hour* for missing breeding birds of prey, as other birds of prey lives depend on them.

Injured Birds of prey - 1 Hour*

If the bird of prey has been injured in what ever way during ther hunt and is also missing, the search team will for the birds health and safety dispatch with in 1 Hour*

Hoax call outs

The falconer will be banned from recieving search parties from The Falcon Center, if the falconer has lied to recieve a search party for the lost Bird of prey. Every one at The Lost Falcon Center and the searchers are volunteers, relying on the goodwill and common sence of falconers to call us WHEN NEEDED, not when feeling lazy.
