About
The Lost Falcon Center
The Lost Falcon Center started when Mark Christian had lost his Barn Owl. Searching for 10 days high and low, unaided was a disheartening job and even though Mark had contacted every help line possible, no one came to his visual aid.
Looking on the falconry forums, Mark found a similar story, but some were different, some could muster volunteers, other falconers that knew what they were doing and these people invariably found their Bird of prey.
That was enough to start the idea of The Lost Falcon Center, somewhere all falconers could contact and get a live party of searchers to assist them in looking for their bird of prey with other experienced falconers.
The idea of 'going international' was thrown at Mark, as there was nothing like this, anywhere that could be found and it is a great opportunity to learn different techniques from around the world.
The Lost Falcon Center
If you were grateful of the help you received in retrieving your lost bird of prey,
please thank the volunteers with some petrol money, it encourages them to help others like yourself.
We are a voluntary organisation funded by ourselves,
however each text message costs money, every mile driven costs money,
as do the adverts to get us known.
If you are in a position to donate even £1 then please do so.
